A House Upon The Rock is a family endeavor although Trish, wife and mama of the clan, primarily makes the goat milk soaps, lotions, skin care products, and wood signs. We use 100% raw goats milk from our own dairy goats, certified organic or non-gmo ingredients (if organic isn’t available), all natural colorants, essential oils, USA made or fair trade companies, we reclaim and use recycled materials as much as possible and use eco-friendly packaging (no plastic). Our skin care line is made in small batches with simple nourishing ingredients and our lotions only use ECOcert emulsifiers and preservatives that allow for organic labeling and are gluten free. All our wood products are made from reclaimed wood.

We have homesteaded wherever we have been planted. Having lived both “in town” and out in the woods in a cabin without running water or electricity we learned to make do with many things we have on hand and to reuse as many items as we could. Reclaiming wood and other materials is just as much of a passion of ours as is encouraging others around us.

Our hope is to encourage you to build your own home on The Rock from the decor on your walls, items you use for hospitality, to the products you put on your family’s skin.

I sell crocheted dish Scrubbies for washing pots and dishes. They can be cleaned in the dishwasher or washing machine. They also work great for cleaning glass top stoves. Cotton face scrubbies come in a pack of five and are perfect for removing makeup. They are reusable and machine washable. Sewed pot holders are round and perfect addition to any kitchen. Sewed mug rugs are round sewed coasters and are perfect for every home. Snap bags are a perfect way to store small things that seem to sink to the bottom of your bag Balm buddies attach to your bag and ensure you never loose your chapstick again! Library bags are a perfect way to hold everything you need… and they are reversible! Zipper bags are a perfect way to stay organized especially when traveling. They are a perfect size to store everything you need… and more! Sewed bookmarks rest on the corner of your page and are a fun addition to any book. Bowl cozies are microwaveable and perfect way to enjoy soup with no burns!

Adams Ironwerkz is a local veteran owned company that makes ornamental iron and metal art for the yard and home. We re-purpose old silverware and other metal to make our stuff. We make trellis’, plant picks, hangers for plants, bird feeders or whatever you might want to hang. We make hummingbird feeders that re-purpose old bottles. We use old silverware to make magnets, business card holders, incense cone holders, dragonfly plant picks, and other pieces of art.

I create piñata the way the customer wants them. Unlike piñatas found in retail or party stores.
