The Nampa Farmers Market is a fun place to mingle with your neighbors, hear some great music, eat some amazing food and get groceries and crafts from people you know!
It’s fun! We work hard at making our local Market a great place for the whole family.
But what happens when your kid’s T-ball game is the same time as the Market? You NEED that bag of salad greens, or pound of burger, or bottle of sauce, but you can’t bear the thought of missing the game.
We’ve come up with an easy solution where you can get your weekly Farmers Market items AND make it to the game.
Now, you can order and pay for your items online and then pick them up from one easy location at the Market.
You might miss the fun of the Market that week, but you won’t miss your kid’s game OR your freshly grown, local beets!
Board Member and Program Coordinator Brecca Hipwell said, “This system allows you to do all your shopping online with a drive by pickup, when that is all time allows for the day. Best part is, you are still supporting local!”
Pro Tip: Order in advance and you won’t have to worry about your favorite loaf of sourdough or carton of eggs being sold out before you get there!
Order anytime during the week to pick up on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Hipwell says this should open up the Market to more customers. “We expect this new way of shopping will allow more people to start shopping local! Our main focus is reducing the friction of shopping local to allow for everyone to support local producers as a regular, weekly event and no longer a casual nicety.”
Getting started is easy! Simply visit our website nampafarmersmarket.com, click on the very first picture that says “Pre-Order Here!” You can search Vendors in alphabetical order. Find the Vendor you want to shop with, select their seller profile, add desired items to cart, then click back using the arrow in upper left corner, find your next Vendor and repeat.
When you have all your desired items, check out in one single transaction. We are continually working with the developers to improve your experience. In the near future, you can expect to see more features such as categorizing items, EBT and other shop with ease options.
After you complete your order, all items will be ready for pickup between 9:30-1 every Saturday. When you arrive at the Market, look for the yellow Nampa Farmers Market tent by the main stage. Show your receipt and the friendly worker will hand you your items and you are done.
And if you time it right, you can swing by and pick up some goodies to eat during the game! (Just don’t cheer with your mouth full!)
